From brief to finished poster

Creative team working on designs

Ever wondered what actually happens between “I need a poster” and holding the finished design? Here’s a peek behind the curtain at how a design project really flows.

1. The brief

It all starts with understanding what the design needs to do — who it’s for, what it should say and where it will be seen. A good brief saves hours of back-and-forth later.

2. Concept and direction

From there come rough ideas: layout, colour and type directions. This is the stage to explore, compare and choose the direction that feels right for the brand.

3. Design and refine

The chosen concept gets built out properly, then refined with your feedback. Small tweaks to wording, spacing or imagery make a big difference to the final result.

4. Final artwork

Once approved, the design is prepared for its final use — print-ready, correctly sized, with the right resolution and colour settings. That’s what makes it look sharp out in the real world.

Good design is a process, not a guess. If you’ve got a project in mind, bring us the brief and let’s make something worth showing off.
